Welcome to the u12, u15 and u18 Girls....... ..
 
Chobham embarked on its first full season of Junior Girls rugby during 2006/2007 with the u17 side enjoying an encouraging year with a mid-table finish in London & SE Div 2.   Since then, Chobham joined forces with Camberley, Guildford and Cranleigh operating as ‘West Surrey District’ at both the u18 and u15 age groups in an attempt to guarantee the players 15-a-side rugby.   This was not a complete success and for the 2008/2009 season Chobham has entered a team into the London & SE u18s League.

With many of the u15 girls moving up to the u18 age group, Chobham has depleted u15 numbers, and the aim is to improve this situation, with a number of recruitment initiatives being introduced by new u15 manager, Natalie Greenwood.   This should enable Chobham to enter a team in the u15s league.

With the departure of Jon Smalley, the ‘academy’ for girls in years 5, 6 & 7 fell by the wayside during 2007/2008, and this is something that the Girls section wants to see re-instated with the possibility of an u12 Girls squad being developed in the future.

We train on Thursday evenings (6:15 - 7:30) at Chobham and play matches on Sundays all over Surrey with kick-offs around midday.   We always welcome new players so why not come down on Thursday.
