Welcome to the u12s......
To ensure more girls stay with rugby beyond the age of 10/11, Chobham have decided that it would be a good plan to follow the lead of other clubs and start an u12s Girls team. This in no way prevents the girls who are still enjoying playing their rugby with the boys, but gives an alternative for those that don’t. Therefore from the new season starting September 09, there will be an opportunity for Girls to play girls only rugby at Chobham for those in school years 6 and 7.
Chobham will host an interschool tournament during the season to encourage the many rugby playing girls in the local area.
As with all Chobham sides, coaching is provided by RFU qualified coaches.
Training will take place on a weekday evening with matches on Sundays during the season (September to May).
New players are always welcome at Chobham. |
