Welcome to the 2009-10 u11s age group.

This year sees the boys continuing to move through the contact game, taking on the challenges of kicking, the five man scrum and the introduction of the full back position.   We have around 60 kids that regularly attend and actively participate in training, matches, friendly matches and competitive festivals.   All the kids get equal chance to play competitive rugby and represent the club.

The coaches are second to none in their effort, commitment, care for the kids and determination that this is about the kids and for the kids, not the parents.   It has been gratifying over the years to see how so many of the kids have developed and not only individually moved up from the C to B and even A teams but also raised the performance of the entire year group, such that the difference in ability between the teams is continuingly reducing.   Equally they all play for Chobham, no matter which squad.

We promise you that your kids will work hard but have great fun and achieve real satisfaction.   As parents you will be involved in the voluntary side of supporting the club that is so crucial to the running of the club.   This is a responsibility of joining the club, but again you will find everyone extremely welcoming and there is an equal place for both mums and dads.

So why not come down on a Sunday, where you can have three weeks trial before you have to join the club.
