The Chobham u8s had a fantastic season last year and we are continuing to be one of the most popular and successful groups at the club. Each Sunday we have between 60 and 80 children of all abilities join us for a fun time learning all of the skills needed to play rugby. Our u8s have regular tournaments and joint coaching sessions with other clubs. Wherever possible we try to ensure that every child plays in at least one tournament a season. Tournaments involve several clubs competing against each other to win the tournament ‘title’, while the combined coaching sessions usually end with a few friendly games at the end of the session
We have a policy of ensuring training is fun and engaging. All training takes place at the club on Sunday from 10am until 12noon. The u8s training ground is on the Wishmore School ground, access is via the club.
Please note players must be born between September 1st 2001 and August 31st 2002 to play in the u8s (i.e. Year 3 at school).
We have now reached capacity for the season and are unable to take any more players until kids drop out. If you would like to go on the register waiting list please email u8s Manager. If a place becomes available we will email you to let you know.
