Adam Smith
Cannons player Adam Smith, son of Grant and Chris, had a serious car accident near Winchester on Sunday 7 March; he was on his way to Marwell Zoo with his girlfriend.
Adam has been transferred to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford. He has a broken shoulder blade, cracked vertebrae in his neck and is suffering a swollen brain. The specialists are keeping him in a drug induced coma, he is improving and is out of his neck brace.
His girlfriend, Aiyesha, is down at Southampton Hospital and has two broken femurs and damaged pelvis and spleen, broken ribs and a punctured lung. She is in a high dependency unit but is conscious and talking to family.
Grant and Chris wish to thank all those at Chobham for their support and we will update the website with Adam and Aiyesha’s progress.
The Smiths are an institution and the backbone of Chobham.
Everyone at Chobham wishes them both a speedy recovery.

Parking on Windsor Road
Please do not park inconsiderately or block the pavements on Windsor Road. The police are clamping down on offenders and will be issuing fixed penalty notices for offences.
